Cabo Golf Open presented by Zadun — 1st Edition

Inaugural Cabo Golf Open in Los Cabos

For the first time, 40 players gather in Baja California Sur for the Cabo Golf Open.

LOS CABOS — Forty players met at Puerto Los Cabos golf course where, alongside an unmatched ocean view, they competed in the inaugural Cabo Golf Open.

"The tournament had a spectacular vibe in a beach setting; on top of that, players got to enjoy the Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman course," said Mariana Hughes, CEO of Hughes Events.

It was a complete experience: before tee-off, every player received a massage from Zadun, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve — the tournament presenters.

Players paired up and walked the 18 holes in A-Go-Go format, encouraging teamwork and integration.

The closing cocktail was hosted by Mariana Hughes and Nicolás Cejas, general manager of Zadun. Actor José María Torre handed the prizes to the three winning duos.

Rafael Helfon and Gerardo Cuik claimed first place with 52 points, followed by Arnoldo Lanzarín and José María González — also at 52 points. Third place went to Alberto Treviño and Luis Olachea with 56 points.

The event also raised funds for Nueva Creación, a children's shelter to which food donations will be made for the season.
