Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation Tournament

Mexico City, June 17, 2021 — Golf enthusiasts joined the 23rd edition of the Charity Tournament benefiting Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation.

As part of the foundation's ongoing aid for children in vulnerable situations across the country, the 23rd edition was held at Los Encinos under the production of Mariana Hughes.

"Each year we try to refresh the on-course dynamics so the experience feels different. In our tournaments players are always part of activations — bets, contests, gifts — because we love treating the player," shared Mariana Hughes.

Turnout this year surprised the organizers: 160 registered players with a waitlist.

"Year after year the event consolidates further, and that drives success in production, sponsorship and player base — making the whole thing more solid," she added.

Format: A-Go-Go in five-player teams, with multiple sponsor activations supporting the foundation.

Mexican golfer Fernando López hosted a clinic that participants found particularly enjoyable.

1st place at 59 points: Sergio Covarrubias, Carlos Vázquez, Kikin Fonseca, Jorge Merino and Juan Pablo Carecho. 2nd place at 62 points: Óscar Villalobos, Julián Fernández, Julio Kaiser, Mauricio Ballesteros and Carlos Ballesteros. 3rd place: Andrés Bringas, Rodrigo Cornejo, Saúl Camacho, Eduardo Jr. Barba and Efraín Lazzeri.
